Black Rock Philharmonic's Rehearsal and Concert Schedule for the 2024 Season:
The plan currently is to have 3 rehearsals this year
Rehearsals – location TBD for 2024
- SundayeveningAugust,5:30pm–this is a “make it if you can”–usually around 35 people
- Monday morning 10:30 pm:everybody for 2 hours
- Tuesdaymorning10:30 am:everybody for 2 hours
Concerts will be established as we get closer to the Burn, but here’s 2023
- Wednesday- evening5:30 pmFrozen Oasis–this year, because of fiscal and crew constraints–no planned dinner. Apologies.
- Thursdayevening6:00 pm–at a large art work, Chapel of Babel, which has been placed at 1:00 from the Man, 2200 feet out. Titanic’s End has graciously agreed to partner with us to provide the rich and multi-dimensional sound to cover our audience of several thousand people.
- Friday morning-9:00am –Temple-– Our last concert of the 2023 season.
We believe that what Black Rock Philharmonic does out there is something wonderfully ephemeral, and beautiful. We are so looking forward to doing it all together again.
