Every little Burner has a little Mozart in them, or Jimi Hendrix!
For our second year, BRP is looking forward to collaborating with Black Rock Explorers from Kidsville at Burning Man 2019. A “Meet and Greet, and Lunch” at Frozen Oasis Camp for the Young Burners Thursday afternoon. BRP will introduce and highlight different classical instruments, play games, and create music. Kids will be allowed to try some instruments under supervision. Where they might discover their inner Mozart… or Jimi Hendrix.
We are excited to be featuring our dear friend Durian Songbird as part of the BRP Children’s Concert. He has spent his life traveling the world, sharing, and breathing the wondrous sounds of the Ocarina and other wind-based instruments. In modern times, the Ocarina was popularized by The Legend of Zelda; however, they have existed for over 10,000 years! Durian will close-out the performances section of our concert, teach us a few things about these fascinating instruments, and then gift Ocarinas to all children in the audience!

Lunch and snacks will be served for the ‘Signed-Up’ Explorers and custodians, compliments of BRP and Frozen Oasis. Food, Games, Mist Machines, and more for the kids!

All kids at Burning Man 2019 are welcomed to join. Please signup before August 10th, 2019. We need to know how many little burners will be in attendance.
