He created the spark that lead to what we call today Burning Man and Home. On Solstice we celebrate Larry Harvey and the first burn on Baker Beach 1986. Planting the seed that gave a opportunity for others to grow into the person they had always dreamed.
Black Rock Philharmonic concertmaster Alyce Bertz, guitarist Gary Bertz, and cellist John Crowley was at BM headquarters to honor and celebrate Larry today. Remembering and carrying the flame onward. Thanks Larry and BM group!
